Carter Estate Winery in Temecula is one of only a handful of wineries who grow, harvest, produce and bottle their own wine. This vertical integration model for our wine program is what sets us apart and gives us more control over our wine through the entire production process; providing our consumers with a true "grape to glass" journey.

We take great pride in our vineyard management and wine production practices. We utilize estate-grown grapes to produce award-winning wines in our onsite facility and one of only two in the Temecula Valley that produce sparkling wine with the traditional method know as methóde champenoise.

GREAT GRAPES MAKE GREAT WINE

All 200+ acres of our vineyards as well as the winery operations are certified through the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. We have biodiversity in the vineyards, whether it is beneficial insects or birds. Everything has a place. Sustainability means we don’t focus solely on farming practices, but also on stewardship of the land and on the winemaking process. There is a balance between social equity, environmental health, and economic profitability in our daily decisions.
